VALEMOUR is a social enterprise created by the “Più di un Sogno” (More than a Dream) Foundation, to manage economic activities helping people suffering from mental disabilities and Down syndrome find work.
It produces clothing and accessories using the co-branding formula with other Italian brands and develops products using innovative technologies and solutions.

WE Crociferi
Venice is a wonderful city, but there is a critical shortage of housing at reasonable prices for students coming from all over the world. We-Crociferi is the first guest house managed as a social enterprise in Venice that offers accommodation to students and travelers, with unique services at competitive prices. We’ll stay the night at We-Croficeri and find out more about their management model, always putting people first and inspired by the best international accommodation models.
When the building was refurbished, great attention was put on environmental protection and high energy savings, adopting high efficiency technological solutions and reducing waste to a minimum also by directly involving users.

Rioterà dei Pensieri Social Cooperative
The cooperative coordinates the entrepreneurial activities of the inmates in Giudecca women’s prison. In particular the cooperative manages an organic vegetable garden and produces high quality cosmetics obtained from the distillation of some of the cultivated plants, following recipes of old while keeping the Venetian artisanal cosmetics tradition alive. The entrepreneurial activities are based on the principles of environmental protection and equality at work. We will visit the inmates working with the Cooperative.

“Il Cerchio” Social Enterprise Restaurant
We’ll have lunch at Il Cerchio Social Enterprise Restaurant. The mainstays of this enterprise are community involvement, reviving traditions, the promotion of sustainable tourism and local products. The cooperative helps create job opportunities for thousands of inmates and ex inmates promoting general awareness in the community, solidarity, the social integration of citizens and sustainable development.
