Product Description

The field trip includes visits to the following social enterprises:

cascina-clarabellaThe CASCINA CLARABELLA consortium is made up of 4 social cooperatives running an agritourism, a restaurant, a winery producing organic wines, and an educational farm. Facilities for meetings and workshops are also available, and the consortium is a member of the network for ethical weddings.
The consortium aims to promote assistance and care pathways and to create jobs for people with mental disorders.
The Cascina Clarabella consortium combats the prejudice suffered by people with mental disorders, by working to develop opportunities in the employment, housing and social spheres.
We shall taste Cascina Clarabella’s farm products and learn more about what the consortium members do here in the heart of the Franciacorta area amid its vineyards and little lakes.

cautoThe Cauto cooperative offers services to collect, transport, manage, treat and store waste. It develops innovative services for the building sector, for maintaining public structures, and for waste recycling.
Cauto uses these services to create jobs and social-emancipation opportunities for people who are marginalized or experiencing hardship.
The range and quality of the available services are the fruit of responsible choices fostered in part by implementing a quality management system. As a result, the cooperative has now achieved environmental, ethical and workplace safety certifications.
The cooperative has also promoted the Cauto Network, an organization that brings the consortium together with 5 other social cooperatives set up in Brescia since 1995.
A bond with and a knowledge of the local area, imagination and innovation, solidarity and respect for the environment come together in the entrepreneurial form of the social cooperative to generate social inclusion and greater wellbeing for all.
