Matteo Bartolomeo holds a Degree in Economics and a European Master in Environmental Policy and Management. After nearly 10 years at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, a research institution dedicated to environmental economics, Matteo has co-founded in 1997 Avanzi, a think tank specialised in social and environmental innovation, where he is now president of the board. In the last years he has been engaged in the launch and management of Make a Cube3, a joint venture between Avanzi and Make a Change, focused on the incubation and acceleration of social businesses, where Matteo now
acts as CEO.
He has been lecturer for more than 10 years at Politecnico di Milano in Environmental Economics and Public economics. He is member of the board of some social businesses and has been part of the board of WWF Italia.
