Burton Claire

Claire Burton is Head of Corporate Responsibility at Deloitte.  Claire leads the firm’s major community and volunteering initiatives including their Skills and Education programmes with Teach First, their charitable relationships with Mind, Prostate Cancer and Alzheimer’s Society and their support to social enterprises through the Deloitte Social Innovation Pioneers programme. Claire helped establish and develop the Pioneers programme, which is now entering its fourth year and has supported 56 social businesses to grow to scale and secure investments through utilising Deloitte’s core skills and capabilities. In total Deloitte has invested over £2.5m in this programme to date which has significantly impacted the social businesses they have worked with as well as driving innovation internally. Claire was a former public sector consultant that specialised in change management and process improvement.  In her spare time Claire is a trustee of the social enterprise Emmaus South Lambeth.
