Glicher Nicholas

Nicholas Glicher is Legal Director at the Thomson Reuters Foundation and manages the legal pro bono projects facilitated by TrustLaw, the Foundation’s global pro bono service.

Nick has been with Thomson Reuters Foundation since January 2011.

He looks after TrustLaw’s network of law firms and in-house legal teams around the world, and manages projects submitted by non-profit and social entrepreneur partners, designing strategic research programmes on policy issues that have included social finance and impact investing, social impact bonds in emerging market jurisdictions, philanthropic giving and social entrepreneurship. Nick relocated to Johannesburg in 2013 to help spearhead TrustLaw’s work in Africa.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Nick worked as a lawyer in the London and Chicago offices of Mayer Brown, an international law firm, specialising in finance and banking law. He also worked in the Debt Capital Markets division at the Royal Bank of Scotland, focussing on Emerging Market debt origination.
