Matt Guttentag is a Partnerships Advisor with the U.S. Global Development Lab at USAID. He manages USAID’s Partnering to Accelerate Entrepreneurship (PACE) initiative, which supports innovative acceleration and impact investment models that help entrepreneurs bridge the pioneer gap. He also serves as the USAID lead on collecting and analyzing data on USAID’s partnerships with the private sector and works extensively with USAID Missions on improving their engagement with corporations, impact investors, and social entrepreneurs. Previously, Matt managed competitions to identify and support social entrepreneurs at Ashoka, and helped improve strategy and monitoring and evaluation practices with a range of donors and foundations as a consultant with Mission Measurement. He is a graduate Duke University and The George Washington University, and is a player with the Washington Improv Theater company.
