Vincenzo Linarello was born in Locri (Reggio Calabria) on July 18th, 1970. In 1988 he felt the mission of embodying the Jesus’ Gospel in his homeland. In 1997 he started, together with other people, a little community of life called Comunità di Liberazione where he still lives today. In that same period, he met Monsignor Giancarlo Maria Bregantini, bishop of Locride at that time, who called him to lead the Labor and Social Ministry of the Diocese. With Bregantini and the Comunità di Liberazione he set a business incubator up, the Crea Lavoro which helps unemployed Calabrian people to start a new business. In 2003, after a deep analysis of Calabrian reality, Linarello, the Comunità di Liberazione and other social local enterprises, set GOEL Social Consortium, a real changing plan for Calabria. Since 2008, together with all GOEL community, he is the promoter of an Alliance with Locride and Calabria, today still signed by 3100 people, 750 institutions and organizations, whose purpose is to oppose to the ‘ndrangheta and deviate freemasonry spreading in Calabria and Northern Italy.
