With a degree in Economics, Elisabetta has worked for six years in the financing sector, as analyst in an international merchant bank. She then moved on to International Cooperation, the sector she has been working in since.
Her experience was gathered in two organizations that implement development projects in Central and Latin America, Africa and Asia. First as a desk officer and later as head of the International Cooperation department, she identified, wrote, implemented or coordinated projects in the sectors of child protection, food sovereignty, poverty reduction and natural resources management, with a focus on access to water.
In the past four years she has focused on the impact social enterprises can have on poverty reduction, as a powerful instrument to tackle the sustainability challenges that traditional cooperation has been and is currently facing.
She is a member of Fondazione ACRA CCS Social Enterprise Development Unit.
