Marco Traversi is actually CEO of Project Ahead, cooperative company involved in the management of projects funded by EU, national and regional programmes or private funders in the fields of enterprise creation, young employment services, third sector and social enterprise consultancy and social innovation.
He was also member of the board of directors of Euclid network for five years and is past president and founder of the Italian Social Innovation network and holds several position in some CSOs like Confcooperative Napoli, Federlavoro Campania and Forum del Terzo settore. He is also founding member of the Global Social entrepreneurship network.
He has an economic background and a long experience in EU structural funds programming in Convergence regions in Italy and in other EU countries and and as long experience as manager of EU projects and trainer for enterprise creation and social innovation.
He also worked for 8 years for the National governmental agency for enterprise creation, currently Invitalia, where he was in charge for the evaluations of the start-ups asking for public grants and for the consultancy services to the best of them.
Along 2014 He has been also member, as technical expert, of the GECES Italia working group at the Ministry of welfare, which worked on the reform of the third sector and social enterprise legislation reform, and of the working groups of the National task force of the G7 for the impact investing.
